However, this single-rotor "8C type" rotary engine does not directly drive the vehicle, but is used as a generator to increase the cruising range. Since it is formally regarded as the resumption of mass production of rotary engines, the original manufacturer announced on October 30, 2023 that its total production exceeded 2 million units.
