The injection molding method of titanium alloy parts is as follows:
A. Raw material preparation: The base material uses atomized pre-alloyed titanium alloy powder with an average particle size of 30um. The composition of the titanium alloy powder is shown in Table 1. Figure 1 is the SEM morphology of the titanium alloy powder;
B. Preparation of binder: According to mass percentage, take 65% polyethylene glycol (PEG), 30% polyethylene wax (PE wax), and 5% stearic acid (SA) in a mixer at a temperature of 150°C. Mix in medium for 3 hours to prepare the binder;
C. Preparation of feed: Mix and granulate the binder and matrix material according to the volume ratio of 38%:62% to make the feed. The mixing temperature is 150°C and the mixer speed is 90r/min. The time is 3h;
D. Injection molding: Use an injection molding machine to inject feed material into the mold cavity to obtain a green product; the injection temperature is 150°C, the injection pressure is 100MPa, the injection speed is 60g/s, and the mold temperature is 60°C;
E. Degreasing: The polyethylene glycol component of the green product is first removed through water. The degreasing time is 5 hours and the temperature is 40°C. Then thermal degreasing is performed in a vacuum degreasing furnace. Under the protection of argon atmosphere, first use Heating to 450°C at a heating rate of 2°C/min and holding for 2 hours, then heating to 750°C and holding for 3 hours at a heating rate of 5°C/min and then cooling to room temperature in the furnace;
F. Sintering: The degreased product body is sintered in a hot isostatic pressing furnace; the vacuum degree in the furnace is 5*10-3Pa before filling with argon gas, then the temperature is raised and argon gas is filled, and the sintering pressure is 200MPa (from (provided by argon gas), heat to 1000°C at a heating rate of 300°C/min, hold for 15 minutes, and then cool to room temperature in the furnace to obtain the finished product. Testing performance, its tensile strength, yield strength, elongation and relative density can reach 940MPa, 900MPa, 12% and 99.8% respectively.
G. Prepare 200 samples according to the above process steps and parameters, and the yield rate is 93%.
